Central Victoria Area Consultative Committee (CVACC)
is currently in transition to a new organisational structure under the Regional Development Australia network.
The role of the new Regional Development Australia network will be to build on the success of the ACC network, but with a broader role to develop strategic input into national programs to improve the co-ordination of regional development initiatives and to ensure that there is an effective engagement with communities.
The New look organisation will commence operation in January, with more news on its structure and how it will work with communities due in November. We look forward to seeing how we can better work with you in your local community
The old Regional Partnerships program, which funded community initiatives throughout Australia has closed and preparation is now underway with the Australian Government to introduce a new funding program entitled Regional Local community Infrastructure Program (RLCIP). Full Details of this program will not be available until 2009.
